Our New Landscaping

Just kidding.
This was taken at the L.A. temple last month.

But we did spend a lot of time in the yard this week. Nathan tilled the garden area Friday. Here it is all raked even and ready to plant. Fun times for me next week!

Still picured are the surviving broccoli plant--(do you think it will produce a second year?) and a little patch of carrots (they never really grow that well.) We're saving them to feed the horses next time we go to visit.

My landscape design friend, Taryn, recommended some shrubs for the front so that motivated me and Anna to dig the grass roots out (it looks so much better!) and get ready for their Saturday delivery. Can't wait for these to grow!

I really love spring garden preparation time. It consistantly makes me grateful for God's creations and helps me appreciate my stewardship over the one's I'm responsible for.

Look at you! Thinking it's spring already. Oh wait--it IS spring in California, right? It's looking good--so good that maybe I'll have to come see that yard in person! Sure love you!

Oh, I'm wishing for a bit of earth right now. Looks like you are really going to make the outside of your house/yard look spiffy. Good luck and when you plant your tomatoes, think of me. Love ya!

I am thinking of you, Abi. Aneesa, we'd like to hold you to that. Wishing you could all be here with us.
