It's a jungle out there

The weather has been a little cooler than usual for the last couple months and I've totally been loving spending time in the garden several days a week. But it was still getting away from the me. The weeding had become completely unmanagable so Nathan generously agreed to help me tackle it last weekend (June 12&13). We cleaned out the four rows of peas and corn (already out of season) that were completely overrun with crabgrass. Finally made it to the tomatoes and peppers and discovered hidden treasures.
(Well, we already knew they were there and have harvested several, but they were well hidden.) Hope to get to the onions and melons soon.I love working with Nathan!
Here's a shout out for my super slave. And a big thanks to the parents who raised such a great guy!

Yeah for gardening. You should enjoy your tomatoes on a peice of buttered toast with salt and pepper and think of me. :)
